Adding an Existing Geofence to a Department

 

This topic shows you how to add an existing geofence to a department. This is a geofence that already exists in the account because it was created in a different department. In the system, you can add these existing geofences to your department as well.

 

 

To add an existing geofence to a department

 

  1. Open the map for the department that you want to add the existing geofence to.
  2. From the Tracking screen, in the Entity tabs area , click the Geofences tab.
  3. In the Geofence Details section, located below the map, click the link.
  4. From the Geofence List, select one or more check boxes next to the geofence(s) you want to add to the department.
  5. Click .

 

Note: The geofence that you selected will be added to the department and can be found in the Geofences grid. Also, this geofence is now available to assign to Employees in your department.
